Job summary

England and Great Britain Hockey is looking for talented coaches to join their Talent Academy Programme based at Sheffield Hallam University. Positions include Head Coach, Lead Coach, Coach/GK Coach, and Assistant Coach, all aimed at developing young athletes.

Candidates should have experience in hockey curriculum planning and a solid understanding of player development. The programme operates throughout the year on Monday nights and includes training and competitive matches. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and implementing a successful hockey curriculum.
• Experience developing players to play at Tier 1 Club, County, and TA level.
• Ability to build relationships with coaching colleagues, parents, and players.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and quality-assure the team of coaches delivering the Talent Academy Programme.
• Lead a team of coaches to create an effective talent-development culture.
• Support the development and delivery of the coaching programme.
