Job summary

Sky in London is seeking a Product Owner, Tag Management, to lead the systems and standards for data collection across digital touchpoints, ensuring it’s reliable, scalable and designed to support great customer experiences.

You will own the product vision, manage the backlog for Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager, and collaborate with Sky’s technology ecosystem to govern tag governance, consent and compliance while driving adoption and measurable value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience implementing web and mobile SDKs with release governance.
• Deep expertise in tag management platforms and marketing tech ecosystems.
• Translate legal, security, audit and assurance requirements into practical platform configurations.
• Demonstrated product ownership in complex, fast-moving organisations in Agile environments (SAFe helpful).
• Strong stakeholder influence and collaborative style with trusted partnerships.
• Genuine passion for media and technology in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Vision & Backlog for Tag Management, including Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager.
• Support a delivery roadmap of features, releases, and integrations with Sky’s tech ecosystem.
• Be the system admin for all Tag Management solutions within the business.
• Govern the usage of Tag Management platforms, establishing controls and workflows.
• Enable adoption through Ideation Workshops and User Story Creation.
• Advise on best practices including consent adherence, test and release processes, governance.
• Join Quarterly Planning & support sprint planning as required.
• Support vendor partnerships & ensure tooling remains best-in-class.
• Ensure Technology Stack for tag management adheres to Compliance & Policy Requirements.
• Support MarTech leadership in implementing martech strategy.
