Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is recruiting a full-time permanent Team Around the Family Consultant to provide advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring and support to partner agencies. The role is located in the North/South Kesteven locality and involves working across social care and safeguarding contexts.

The post requires experience as a Lead Professional in a children's multi-agency environment, with a focus on child welfare, risk assessment and collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience writing Early Help Assessments and Plans.
• Experience as Lead Professional in a multi-agency children’s environment.
• Skills in mediating, mentoring, influencing and coaching.
• Be proactive and child focused.
• Understand Working Together 2026 statutory guidance and Lincolnshire's TAF framework.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with partner agencies and social care teams.
• Offer 1:1 case support, reflection, advice and guidance to the partnership for children open to TAF.
• Write and deliver workshops.
• Contact professionals to offer support following a safeguarding referral.
• Offer support for professionals for step-outs following Family Help/Social Care involvement.
• Analyse data and create action plans for improvements.
• Offer duty support to partner agencies via our ASKTAF service.
