Job summary

The Cube London in Canary Wharf is looking for a Front of House Restaurant Server to deliver a premium dining experience in our venue restaurant. You will take orders, serve seated meals, and present sliders and sharing plates to groups, while keeping a clean, welcoming service area and assisting with bar service when needed.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of restaurant service experience, be comfortable working in a high-volume environment, and possess excellent verbal and written

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant service experience required.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant environments preferred.
• Experience working in large teams and independently.
• Experience serving at large events is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide top quality restaurant service to enhance customer experience.
• Take orders and serve food with enthusiasm and engagement.
• Take drinks orders and manage service at the bar when ready.
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage.
• Keep service areas clean and presentable at all times.
• Assist with setting tables and arranging cutlery and menus.
• Support closing duties for restaurant and bar, including deep cleaning.

Role Description

Working in the Front of House team you are responsible for the delivery of a high-class restaurant operation. You will work in our restaurant inside the venue, serving seated meals to guests, and sliders and sharing plates to parties and group bookings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing top quality restaurant service to compliment the customer experience.
• Taking orders and serving food with enthusiasm, engaging with customers.
• Taking orders for drinks and collecting from the dispense bar when ready to serve.
• Monitor and rotate stock to reduce wastage.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times, clearing tables of empty glasses, wiping down menus and table surfaces.
• Assist in setting up, laying cutlery and menus.
• Helping to close the restaurant and bar, deep cleaning the service areas.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all training is completed in a timely manner.
• Proactively contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes.
• Assisting in the onboarding of newer members of the team.

Skills
