Software Engineering Talent Acquisition Partner

6-Month Fixed Term Contract – West London (Hybrid)

I am working with a well-known, large UK high-street retailer that is experiencing significant growth and transformation across its technology function. They have an urgent requirement for two experienced Software Engineering Talent Acquisition Partners to join their team on a 6-month FTC starting in January.

This is a high-impact role, partnering closely with senior engineering and technology stakeholders to deliver hiring at scale within a complex, enterprise environment.

  • Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract (starting January)
  • Salary: Competitive
  • Location: West London
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
The Role
  • Act as a true business partner to engineering and technology leaders, supporting large-scale hiring programmes.
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment for Software Engineering roles across multiple disciplines.
  • Navigate and manage complex, fast-moving hiring environments, balancing pace with quality.
  • Use data and insights to influence hiring decisions, workforce planning and delivery.
  • Partner with HR, People and Tech teams to continuously improve hiring processes and systems.
  • Demonstrate clear ownership of delivery, including what was delivered and how it was achieved at scale.
About You
  • Proven experience recruiting Software Engineers within scaling or high-growth organisations.
  • Enterprise-level background strongly preferred.
  • A seasoned Talent Acquisition Business Partner with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly data-driven, comfortable using systems, reporting and insights to guide decision-making.
  • Confident navigating complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Engineering background is ideal; alternatively, significant experience in complex technical hiring environments.
