Job summary

Springfield Primary Academy is seeking a self-motivated, caring Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support individuals and small groups across the primary age range and to assist with our After School Club activities.

Under the guidance of teaching staff, you will implement planned work, deliver PPA sessions, help prepare resources and may supervise whole classes during short-term absences to keep pupils on task.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, caring and enthusiastic.
• Ability to work with individuals and small groups.
• Willingness to support After School Club.

Responsibilities

• To work under the guidance of teaching staff to implement agreed work programmes with individuals / groups within and out of the classroom.
• Deliver PPA sessions as timetabled.
• May supervise whole classes during short-term absence to maintain order and keep pupils on task.
• Support in the daily running of the After School Club, providing care, play opportunities and activities.
