A leading defence organisation in Stevenage is seeking a Systems Performance Engineer to provide technical studies and performance analysis for missile systems. The role involves using complex models and collaborating with subject matter experts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and experience with computer simulations. The position offers a competitive salary, hybrid working, and various employee benefits.
As a Systems Performance Engineer, within one of our systems engineering teams, you will provide performance prediction and analysis expertise to major defence programmes, developing the latest Complex Weapons capabilities for the UK Armed Forces in response to advanced threats in all domains (Air, Land, Sea).
Expect assignments across concept, assessment or demonstration phase contracts, covering one of the MBDA product lines. System Performance is an essential part of the system design process and a key indicator as to whether the design is suitable.
Salary: Circa £43,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) and UK Security Check (SC) clearance, which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
