Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as part of Coventry City Council’s Digital Services Directorate. You will play a key role in supporting the application management lifecycle for line‑of‑business ICT systems used across the authority, including schools, libraries, and the youth offending service.

Key Duties
  • Second‑line support for line‑of‑business systems
  • Managing change controls and scheduling upgrades and patches
  • Implementing new systems and upgrades to existing systems
  • Resolving incidents and escalating to tier‑3 staff and third‑party vendors where necessary
Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of ICT standards and technologies such as SaaS, cloud computing and web services
  • Proven experience in delivering and managing application support services
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for service excellence and continuous improvement
  • A team player who leads by example and thrives on collaboration
