Salary: Up to £65,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing
  • Collaboration to understand the packages of work for your team including how these contribute to milestones and/or project success
  • Establishing the necessary team size, whilst balancing strengths, skillset, experience and development needs of your team
  • Facilitating dependencies or requesting help and enablers for the team to progress
  • Contributing to strategy and facilitating implementation of initiatives
  • Supporting team members wellbeing and career development
Your skills and experiences
  • Proven experience leading and managing a system engineering team of six or more people in relevant product markets
  • Proven experience in assigning work packages and leading teams to balance quality, schedule and budget
  • Proven experience in more than one aspect of the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Familiarity with system engineering tools such as DOORS, Siemens Polarion, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, MATLAB and/or Simulink.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Scientific/Engineering subject (e.g. Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace, Physics or Mathematics)

The Systems Engineering Team

You’ll be part of the development and supply of products across a diverse mix of commercial and military platforms; Head Up and Head Worn Displays, Safety Critical Pilot Control and Flight Control Systems. We encourage our Systems Engineers to gain a breadth of knowledge across these domains to become subject matter experts in one or more product domain, or systems engineering specialism.
