Role Overview

Holds a computing degree or can demonstrate increasing levels of exposure work with advanced server infrastructure and progressive levels of personal responsibility operating in complex production technical environments

Microsoft Certified Professional qualification or equivalent experience of managing all currently supported Microsoft server operating systems and databases that serve hundreds of users

Practical experience of successfully performing with a broad range of technologies.

Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.

• Extensive experience of working in a senior technical team in a complex organisation with an IT estate comprising of a significant number on premise and cloud servers. Knowledge and experience of installing, and supporting server operating systems and hardware including VMWare ESXi in multisite enterprise live environments
• Comprehensive experience of managing live Microsoft Azure, networks, storage, security, backups, system troubleshooting and their lifecycle management
• ITIL V3/V4 qualification with the experience of working in an ITIL focused environment
• AZ-104, desirable: Microsoft Certified System Administrator and Microsoft Azure Administrator qualification or equivalent

• Practical experience of virtualisation, servers, storage, databases, IP telephony and end user devices
• Skills in many of the following: working at an admin level with Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, Security, Compliance, Endpoint Manager, Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint & Teams
• Extensive experience of installing and configuring Azure based systems, backup architectures and disaster recovery procedures
