Salary:up to £53,000 dependent on experience

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
We invite you to join the Actuation Systems Centre of Excellence as a Systems Engineer. The Centre of Excellence specialises in the design and development of electro-mechanical actuation systems that provide closed-loop control of fins to steer missiles during flight. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplined team developing actuation systems across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to qualification. You will collaborate with the engineers at missile level to ensure the actuation system meets the needs of the missile.
You will work with various engineering disciplines within the Centre of Excellence to understand the functional architecture and relevant requirements for the electronics, mechanical and software domains. Depending on your experience, there are opportunities to take on this role as a support Systems Engineer or a lead Systems Engineer.
