BWB Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to support, develop and secure our Microsoft-centric infrastructure. You will lead a small team of 2nd and 3rd Line Engineers and drive design, maintenance, and continuous improvement across the firm's technology estate.

You will deliver infrastructure, cloud, networking and security projects, provide senior escalation support, and ensure reliable IT services while supporting the firm’s digital strategy.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior infrastructure, systems engineering or cloud engineering role.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical support and infrastructure teams.
• Strong VMware and Veeam for VMware knowledge and experience.
• Strong Microsoft Azure administration experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 product knowledge and experience.
• Experience managing hybrid identity environments, including Entra ID and Active Directory
• Experience managing enterprise networking environments.
• Experience supporting firewalls, VPNs, switching and wireless technologies.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience delivering technical projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience managing outsourced suppliers and managed service providers.

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical IT Systems Engineer to support, develop, and secure BWB's technology estate. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role responsible for the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the firm's Microsoft-centric infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity controls, networking environment, backup and disaster recovery capabilities. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a small team of 2nd and 3rd Line Engineers, acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, infrastructure projects, security incidents, and service improvements across the wider Technology service. They will play a key role in supporting BWB's digital strategy while ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services are delivered across the business.

Essential requirements

• Knowledge of ISO27001 controls and governance frameworks.
