Overview

As a Systems Engineer, you'll lead the technical delivery of customer projects, ensuring all requirements are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be at the heart of engineering excellence, driving innovation and reliability across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • What you will be doing...
  • Interpreting customer specifications and designing tailored technical solutions
  • Leading engineering activities including design reviews and documentation approvals
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams across global sites
  • Managing project milestones and reporting to the Project Manager
  • Supporting warranty claims, root cause analysis, and retrofit documentation
  • Liaising with customers to resolve non-conformances and ensure satisfaction
  • Supporting UK engineering and aftermarket services
Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Railway industry experience (desirable)
  • Proven design and project delivery expertise
  • Strong coordination and leadership skills
