The Systems Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that data from Dunelm’s core systems is accurately understood, clearly defined and ready for engineering delivery. The role acts as the bridge between source systems and data engineering teams, providing detailed system and data analysis that underpins high-quality data products.
Working closely with Data Product Managers, Data Management, Data Engineers and business stakeholders, the Systems Data Analyst translates business questions into precise, system-level data requirements. This includes analysing source systems, defining data structures, producing data models and mappings, and ensuring requirements are development-ready before build begins.
