A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a Systems and Control Officer to manage IT systems supporting local taxation and benefits. Candidates should have advanced Excel and Word skills, a strong understanding of relevant legislation, and the ability to work independently. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to digital transformation efforts across two councils.
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for public service and financial accuracy? We’re looking for a Systems and Control Officer to play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the IT systems that underpin our Local Taxationand Benefits shared service.
This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of system administration, financial reconciliation, secure data handling, and project innovation—helping ensure our services run smoothly and securely across two councils.
Location: Agile working across North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire
Hours: 32 hours per week (Mon–Thurs: 7 hours per day, Fri: 4 hours AM)
Team: Central Team – Systems and Control
Service Area: Local Taxation and Benefits Shared Service
