A prominent IT support firm in Kingston upon Hull is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience, as well as programming skills in Python and SQL. You will have a varied role that includes infrastructure support, hands-on development, and problem-solving in a professional environment. The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum with additional benefits including a pension scheme and holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a Windows Server environment.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, networking and VLANs.
• Programming experience with Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining servers, networks, firewalls and core IT infrastructure.
• Monitoring system performance, security, backups and storage.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues.
• Developing internal business solutions using Python, SQL and web technologies.
