We are currently recruiting 2 Systems Administrators to join our IT team.

The Group IT & Business Improvement Team is responsible for:
  • Support for all users across the Group on our IT systems.
  • Cyber security.
  • Day to day administration and development of our IT systems.
  • Developing processes, exploiting lean thinking and technology to improve efficiency.
Working under our Head of Systems, you would be working alongside our:
  • Business Analysts to maintain, design, develop and test our core IT systems.
  • Data Scientist to collate our data for reporting and decision making.
  • Support Assistants to respond to second line support requests on our core IT systems.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the day-to-day operation of core IT systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business teams and are reliable and available.
  • Identifying and addressing issues before they impact users.
  • Implementations of current and new IT systems into contracts, sites or offices.
  • Working with system providers to install, configure, and upgrade software and rollout new or improved functionality across the Group.
  • Assist Business Analysts in designing system solutions and integrations that meet the needs of the business teams ensuring they perform as required and reliable and secure.
  • Develop system training materials (guidance documents, video tutorials, Teams workshops) for distribution across the Group to ensure all users know how to use our systems, upskill users and to assist with first line support.
  • Work with Business Analysts to gather end user feedback for improving systems and system training materials.
  • Develop and execute testing to validate existing or new system functionality and ensure existing or new solutions meet the needs of the business teams.
  • Design and implement system interfaces both internally and with external client systems.
  • Ensure our quality management system is up to date with process or system changes.
  • Work with the Head of Systems and system providers to quickly resolve system issues and minimise downtime.
  • Using our systems and tools such as PowerBI, collate and analyse data, and produce management information that allows users to view complex data in an easy to use format.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications, Key Skills & Experience:
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in systems administration.
  • Knowledge of works order management systems is desired, familiarity with applications from Totalmobile (Connect, Mobilise) is advantageous.
  • Prior experience administering Finance ERP applications would be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of user administration and role security configuration will enhance your efficiency.
  • Experience working in social housing maintenance sector is preferable but not essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or knowledge of other data tools such as PowerBI or similar.
  • Ability to produce accurate information and present complex data effectively.
  • Experience in maintaining systems and improving processes.
  • Ability to create training materials in a variety of formats.
  • Multitasker who can prioritise demands and deadlines.
  • Problem solver.
  • Can communicate technical knowledge to non-technical users.

Please note this a remote role but some travel to our different offices may be required - our head office is in Cardiff.
