Overview

Administer and maintain the infrastructure at MOD Southwick Park, Portsmouth, including both permanent and deployable nodes. Collaborate with the Training Support team to ensure systems remain available and secure for experimentation and wargaming activities. Maintain infrastructure to support wargaming and experimentation, with on-site CIS coordination for reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the infrastructure, including both permanent and deployable nodes at MOD Southwick Park, Portsmouth
  • Collaborate closely with the Training Support team to ensure systems remain available and secure for experimentation and wargaming activities
  • Maintain permanent and deployable infrastructure to support wargaming and experimentation activities
  • Perform patching, license management, and configuration alignment
  • Provide remote testing access while coordinating with on-site CIS staff to keep services running smoothly
  • Travel occasionally to other customer or MASS locations as required
