Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Accountant to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background combined with hands-on experience in the implementation and ongoing management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will play a key role in optimising the financial processes, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for financial processes.
- Translate business and accounting requirements into functional and system configurations.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to streamline workflows and improve system efficiencies.
- Manage financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Banking.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports using Business Central.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and other regulatory standards.
- Train finance staff on Business Central functionality and best practices.
- Assist in data migration, system upgrades, and integrations with third-party applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA or equivalent accounting certification (preferred).
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and system-driven accounting.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV), including at least one full-cycle implementation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
