Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Systemic Family Psychotherapist for a part-time position within the Forensic Directorate. You will work across Medium and Low Secure units and the Forensic Outreach team, delivering specialist systemic interventions to service users, their families and carers.

The role involves in-reach services near discharge, collaboration with inpatient wards and community teams, and multi-disciplinary teaching and supervision to staff.

Qualifications

• AFT accredited course required.
• UKCP registration required.
• Experience in forensic settings or services.
• Systemic work with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist systemic and family psychotherapy to service users, families, and carers in inpatient and community settings.
• Offer inreach services to discharge-ready service users, coordinating with wards and community teams.
• Facilitate systemic case discussions and co-lead formulation and risk review meetings.
• Provide systemic supervision, teaching, and guidance on psychological care to MDT staff.
