Responsibilities

Are you an experienced System Safety Engineer looking to contribute to critical projects in the Aerospace and Defence industry? This company has an incredible opportunity for you to join their team as a System Safety Engineer. With roles available in both the UK Defence Aerospace and Civil Aerospace domains, this is your chance to make a real impact. As a System Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the certification of Boeing Commercial Aircraft, developing and reviewing safety analyses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO178B/C, and DO-254. You will collaborate with global teams to manage safety throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in safety‑critical, regulated environments (e.g., aerospace, defence, rail, automotive)
  • Expertise in developing safety cases and applying safety assessment techniques (e.g., Fault Tree Analysis, Bowtie Analysis)
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft safety assessment methodologies (ARP4761) and the integral process of ARP4754
  • Proficiency in Fault Tree Analysis using tools like RWB and/or CAFTA
Compensation

This company offers a competitive pay range of £33.50 - £72.00 per hour, as well as the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. The roles are initially for a 12-month duration, with the potential for extension or further opportunities.
