Leonardo UK is seeking a System Safety Engineer to apply safety analysis across the full system lifecycle, from requirements through to in-service support. You will identify hazards, perform analyses, and determine mitigations while contributing to the Product Safety framework.

The role involves generating safety artefacts, collaborating with software, electronics and mechanical teams, and applying standards such as ARP4754/4761 or DO-178C/ DO-254 where relevant.

Qualifications

• Experience performing safety analyses for complex systems in safety-critical environments.
• Ability to generate safety artefacts such as system safety assessments, hazard logs, fault trees, risk assessments.
• Knowledge of lasers, radar systems, sensors or defensive aids systems preferred.
• Experience across multiple engineering lifecycle phases and ability to work with diverse disciplines.
