Job summary

Agratas – A Tata Enterprise is seeking a Systems Engineer – WMS to optimize warehouse IT operations and integrate material handling systems with ERP/MES and OT platforms in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will configure WMS workflows, drive design and implementation, and collaborate with IT and operations to ensure data integrity and performance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with WMS solutions (essential).
• Proven ability to configure WMS and integrate with ERP, MES, and OT systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# programming and SQL databases.
• Experience with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards for seamless system integration.
• 3+ years of WMS experience in battery, semiconductor, life sciences, pharma, or biotech industries.
• Project management expertise in WMS implementation and equipment interface commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Configure Dassault DELMIA Apriso MOM WMS for battery manufacturing workflows and be involved in design, development, implementation, support and maintenance.
• Ensure WMS is configured to represent all warehouse and logistics workflows; translate business requirements into WMS capabilities with IT solution architects.
• Ensure seamless integration of WMS with OT systems (SCADA, WCS, Automation, IoT) and with ERP, MES, ASRS, and WCS for real-time data flow.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to milestones for manufacturing projects.
• Provide technical expertise in development, testing and cross-functional team engagement; troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement of WMS.
• Update and maintain comprehensive functional and technical design documentation; document data workflows between manufacturing systems and enterprise applications.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal and external stakeholders; support WMS users to ensure smooth operations.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 3+ years industry experience; strong collaboration and problem-solving for business-IT alignment; onsite work requirement.

Manufacturing Warehouse Management IT Operations

• Configure Dassault DELMIA Apriso MOM WMS for battery manufacturing workflows.
• Be proactively involved in WMS solution design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance.
• Ensure the WMS is configured to represent all warehouse and logistics workflows.
• Collaborate with IT solution architects to translate business requirements into WMS capabilities.
• Play a fundamental role in enhancing WMS and logistics-driven operations.

System Integration

• Ensure seamless integration of WMS with OT systems, including SCADA, WCS, Automation, and IoT.
• Enable WMS connectivity with IT systems, including ERP, MES, ASRS, and WCS, for real-time data flow.

Project Management

• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to milestones for manufacturing projects.

Technical Ability

• Provide technical expertise in development, testing, and cross-functional team engagement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Documentation

• Update and maintain comprehensive functional and technical design documentation.
• Document data workflows between manufacturing systems and enterprise applications.

Training And Support

• Conduct training sessions and lead workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support WMS system users to ensure smooth operations and optimal system utilization.

• Ability to work onsite in Sanand, Gujarat, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
