A technology firm is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to work on advanced Command and Control (C2) systems. The role involves contributions to software design, working with cross-disciplinary teams, and enhancing user interaction with complex systems. Candidates should have experience in systems design and preferably hold a degree in Engineering or a related field. The position is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days on-site in Bristol.
Salary: Up to £57,000
Location: Hybrid (3-4 days per week on-site) Bristol

A fantastic opportunity to join a team developing next-generation Command and Control (C2) systems for advanced air defence weapon platforms.
As a Systems Design Engineer, you'll help operators understand the battlespace, manage weapon systems, and deliver mission-critical capability. You'll work on both upgrades to existing C2 platforms and new developments for international customers, gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle while collaborating with software, hardware, and systems teams to ensure everything performs as it should.
You'll contribute to the functional design of C2 software, working with architects to refine requirements, analyse system behaviour, and enhance performance. Your focus will be on improving how users interact with complex systems and solving technical challenges along the way.
We7re looking for someone with experience in systems design or systems engineering, ideally within complex or safety-critical environments. You7ll enjoy working across multiple disciplines, solving problems, and finding practical solutions. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is equally valued.
