A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a dynamic system change leader to provide strategic leadership and programme management to tackle health inequalities. The ideal candidate will work across the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System, building strategic relationships and implementing impactful programmes. Fixed 12 months. Are you a dynamic system change leader who is passionate about tackling health inequalities? The Get Britain Working White Paper sets an ambition for 80% of the population to be economically active. Currently, economic activity in the North East and North Cumbria falls significantly below the national average, with some local authority areas seeing one in three residents economically inactive.
You will work across the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System to provide strategic leadership and programme management to deliver the ambitions of the Get Britain Working White Paper. Working collaboratively with partners you will lead the development and coordination of the North East and North Cumbria Health, Work and Skills Partnership, build strategic relationships, align regional priorities and ensure effective governance and delivery mechanisms.
Automatic enrolment with a pay and reward pension scheme (Local Government Pension Scheme). Flexi time to allow for work‑life balance (where applicable). 265 days of leave (excluding bank holidays) with an additional leave scheme.
