Job summary

A UK-based IT company is looking for a Systems Administrator / Developer to manage servers and networks while developing internal solutions using Python and SQL. The role offers a salary up to £35,000, 25 days holiday, and a 37-hour workweek in an office-based environment. What will you be doing?
  • Managing and maintaining servers, networks, firewalls and core IT infrastructure
  • Monitoring system performance, security, backups and storage
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues
  • Developing internal business solutions using Python, SQL and web technologies
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and group policies
  • Supporting and improving the IT service desk function
  • Producing reports and working with ERP systems
  • Maintaining documentation, IT policies and security standards (ISO27001 / Cyber Essentials)
  • Supporting new starters with system access and inductions
Where you'll be doing it

You'll be joining a UK-based business with an established internal IT function. The role is hands‑on and varied, covering infrastructure, support and development work in a professional office environment.

What you'll need
