We have an exciting clerical opportunity to join our South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, Performance and Support Services team, with a Clerical Assistant vacancy within the Newberry Rooney Centre, Hamilton:
We are seeking a motivated and organised Clerical Assistant to join our Centralised Mobile Equipment Team (CMET). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the coordination of laptop and mobile phone refresh programmes, maintaining accurate equipment inventories, and managing the issue, return and replacement of devices across the resource. Working closely with service areas and IT colleagues, you will help ensure that equipment and associated records are managed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
In addition, you will support the management of electronic records within the resources' Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). This will include scanning, indexing and uploading documents, ensuring information is stored securely. The team also plays an important role in supporting the preparation and collation of documentation in response to Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other information requests from members of the public in relation to their Social Work information.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake general admin duties which may include providing a front-line reception service, providing a word processing service, minute taking and distribution, arranging meetings/appointments using the MS Office Outlook facility and fielding enquiries via email and phone.
We would welcome applications from people who have an excellent knowledge of IT software and it is desirable that you have knowledge of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) and experience in supporting IT equipment deployment within a busy office environment, although required training will be provided.
