Job summary

Serco Limited in Leicester is seeking a Swimming Teacher for South Charnwood Leisure Centre. This part-time, permanent role offers £15 per hour and a flexible schedule to deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons.

You’ll teach across age groups, complete required training, and complete a DBS check. Benefits include holidays, pension, extensive trainings, and leisure centre access.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people of all ages.
• STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2 is required.
• DBS check is required; training provided for additional qualifications.

• Contract for as little or as many teaching hours as you want.
• Provide ongoing training through Aquatic Training Academy and CPDs.
• Support teachers’ career development and progression into management.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills, happy to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2.
• Holding either a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
• DBS check required.
