Job Summary

As a Swimming Teacher you will inspire learners, deliver engaging swimming lessons, and foster a fun, inclusive environment. You will work with groups and sometimes one‑to‑one, building trust and encouraging students to reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and facilitate swimming lessons for all age groups.
• Motivate and instruct students, ensuring safety and adherence to the National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
• Deliver excellent customer service and continuously improve teaching practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider Places Leisure team.

Qualifications & Experience

• UKCC Level 2 minimum, with NPLQ or NRASTC Lifesaving qualification preferred.
• Passion for teaching, swimming and excellent class programming.
• Patient, approachable, and able to build trust with learners.
• Willingness to pursue further qualifications and professional development.
