Job summary

swim! is seeking a dedicated Swimming Teacher to deliver fun, high-quality lessons for children aged 3–11. You will inspire confidence, celebrate progress, and make sessions engaging and safe, ensuring each swimmer enjoys a memorable experience and parents feel valued.

This role offers growth within a team that sets new standards for learn-to-swim in the UK, with opportunities to work across multiple venues and participate in ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification required (STA/SQA/Swim England).
• Friendly, engaging personality with great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver themed, structured swimming lessons for children aged 3–11 (beginners to competent).
• Deliver with a modern, engaging style, always giving your best.
• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families and updating parents.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Use digital systems to track progress and celebrate milestones.
• Communicate results to parents and guardians to keep them informed.
• Participate in staff training and development sessions; maintain excellence.

The Role

As a Swimming Teacher at swim!, you’ll deliver fun, creative, and high-quality swimming lessons for children aged 3–11. You’ll inspire confidence, celebrate progress, and make every session engaging and safe ensuring each swimmer enjoys a memorable experience and every parent feels valued and informed.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver, and review themed, structured swimming lessons for children aged 3–11 (from beginners to competent swimmers).


• Deliver with a modern, engaging and dynamic style always looking to bring your best self


• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families, engaging with parents, and ensuring every swimmer feels supported.


• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all swimmers.


• Use our digital systems to track progress, celebrate milestones, and communicate results.


• Communicate confidently with parents and guardians to keep them informed and involved.


• Participate regularly in staff training, team meetings, and ongoing development sessions to maintain excellence and consistency.
