Job summary

Bradfield College and St Andrew's Berkshire are seeking a part-time Swimming Instructor to support our weekend children's swimming lessons and holiday covers. You will teach on Saturday mornings and assist with ad hoc coverage, following the Swim England ASA framework from Ducklings to Stage 10.

The role requires Level 1 & Level 2 Swimming Teachers' Certificates; the National Rescue Award is desirable. You must be friendly, flexible and able to work well in a team, with good communication and

Job description

Bradfield College and St Andrew's Berkshire are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Swimming Instructor to support our very busy Children's Swimming Lesson Programme that takes place at weekends during the school term and some school holidays/half-terms.

The successful candidate will be required to teach swimming lessons on a regular basis at Saturdaymorningsand also assist with ad hoc cover. We follow the Swim England ASA programme teaching from Ducklings to Stage 10.

You will need a Level 1 & 2 Swimming Teachers' Certificate, and the National Rescue Award would also be desirable but not essential. You will need to be welcoming and flexible in your approach and be able to work well within a team environment.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate that they can communicate well with young children and have empathy in their approach, alongside good time keeping and organisation skills.

This is a part time role, working Saturday mornings and school holidays.
