Job summary

University of Strathclyde Swimming & Water Polo Club in Glasgow is seeking a part-time coach to lead training sessions and league matches, developing swimmers technically and performance-wise.

You will maintain records, evaluate team performance, and work with the club committee to select teams, ensuring health, safety, and equality standards are upheld.

Qualifications

  • Lead coaching at training sessions and league matches.
  • Improve technical and performance development of swimmers.
  • Enhance the student experience through high-quality coaching.
  • Maintain records on attendance, team selections and analysis.
  • Regular evaluation of team performance.
  • Manage team selection and provide feedback with the committee.
  • Communicate with Club Committee and Sports Union as required.
  • Support student leadership development, especially with committee members.
  • Ensure sessions comply with Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity standards.
