Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher for Cirencester Leisure Centre to deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals.

Applicants should hold a Level 2 swimming teaching qualification and an Enhanced DBS check. Hours are up to 3 per week, Saturdays on a rota, with a pay rate of up to £19.74 per hour. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• To teach swimming to children and/or adults according to qualification, training and experience.
• Communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on progression.
• Assist in supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring safety and discipline.
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
• An ability to deal with children and their parents.
• Level 2 swimming teaching qualification
• Enhanced DBS check
