Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a friendly Swim Instructor for our Bridgend pool, working on a bank, ad-hoc basis with part-time hours. The role offers an hourly rate up to £19.15 depending on experience and includes benefits.

You will hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 and bring excellent people skills to deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons for customers across ages and abilities.

Qualifications

• ASA/Swim England Level 2 qualification or equivalent is required.
• Strong people skills and a love for swimming.
• Clear communication and confidence when teaching swimmers of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve swimming goals.
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or small group sessions.
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach.
• Tailor teaching to individual needs and abilities.
• Promote memberships by explaining facility benefits.
• Ensure safety and adhere to pool rules while delivering lessons.

Swim Instructor** **

Up to £19.15 per hour depending on experience plus benefits

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
