A leading UK property developer is seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to lead sustainability delivery across a significant development portfolio. This role will contribute to the organisation's 2030 Sustainability Strategy with a focus on development projects. The ideal candidate would possess 8-10 years of experience in the property or construction sector, knowledge of ISO 14001, and practical skills in BREEAM, WELL, and HQM. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders are essential.
Qualifications
Around 8-10 years' experience in sustainability within property or construction.
Strong knowledge of ISO 14001.
Practical experience with BREEAM, WELL, and HQM.
Expertise in whole life carbon, embodied carbon, and Net Zero pathways.
Experience contributing to GRESB, CDP, and ESG benchmarks.
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality sustainability performance across a large portfolio of development projects.
Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure sustainability is embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
