Job summary

Verdant Search is seeking a Sustainability Manager for our Central London office to drive ESG initiatives across the business. You will report to the Senior Sustainability Manager within the award-winning ESG department.

You will embed sustainable practices for employees, clients and properties, develop strategies for energy, water and waste, and lead data collection and reporting (SECR, GRESB, ESOS). Hybrid work with some client site travel; salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the property industry / built environment.
• Experience of ESG reporting and environmental data platforms (GRESB/REEB ideal).
• Strong client facing and management skills.
• Data gathering, management and reporting experience.
• Passion for sustainability and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Advise on ESG best-practice and drive implementation of Sustainability strategies.
• Devise and implement property sustainability strategies (energy, water, waste).
• Oversee data collation, validation and analysis including SECR, GRESB, REEB, ESOS, Net Zero and GHG reporting.
• Lead the implementation of Social Value and Wellbeing strategies.
• Develop your skills to become a thought-leader on ESG topics.
• Collaborate with ESG Director and Business Development to create ESG services and bid activity.
