Job summary

MNRecruit is recruiting for a Sustainability Consultant or Senior Sustainability Consultant to join its growing team in London. The role offers hybrid working and a salary range of £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience, with a discretionary bonus possibility.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years' experience for Consultant or 5+ years for Senior level, a relevant degree, and proven work in sustainability, carbon assessment and planning documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience for Consultant level or 5+ years for Senior level.
• Degree or qualification in sustainability, architecture, engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in building sustainability, carbon assessment, net zero transition and sustainability advisory.
• Knowledge of circular economy principles and their application.
• Experience with planning processes and sustainability reporting.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking whole life carbon assessments and options appraisals to inform sustainable design decisions.
• Developing circular economy strategies across a range of projects.
• Producing whole life carbon assessments, circular economy statements, sustainability statements and planning documentation.
• Managing BREEAM assessments, including pre-assessments, workshops and certification.
• Managing small to medium-sized projects or delivering specific elements of larger projects.
• Providing technical sustainability advice and developing creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Collaborating with colleagues across sustainability, ecology and nature teams.
