A renowned human-centric Building Services Consultancy is expanding their Sustainability Group with the addition of a Sustainability Consultant. With projects across education healthcare commercial and more you ll be part of a multidisciplinary team leading the way in sustainable design and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities

This Sustainability Consultant position is for someone with consultancy experience within sustainability and the built environment with a passion for sustainable development and technical excellence.

At either Consultant or Senior level you will :
  • Develop and deliver holistic sustainability strategies across sectors
  • Manage environmental and wellbeing assessments including BREEAM WELL HQM
  • Conduct whole life carbon and circular economy assessments
  • Undertake operational energy modelling (IES VE) overheating and energy strategy work
  • Lead and mentor junior consultants and support technical training
  • Engage in R&D projects to advance industry knowledge and best practice
  • Represent the business in industry-facing guidance and thought leadership
Requirements

You will previously have worked as a Sustainability Consultant for a Contractor or Consultancy

  • A degree in Engineering Environmental Science or related discipline
  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following :
  • IES VE energy modelling
  • One Click LCA or equivalent for embodied carbon analysis
  • Net zero carbon strategy development
  • Circular Economy Statements
  • A passion for driving sustainability in the built environment
  • BREEAM AP WELL AP or relevant certification is desirable
  • Excellent communication and project leadership skills
