Job summary

The University of Westminster Students' Union is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Community Organiser to engage students and support sustainability initiatives across campuses. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and community advocacy.

Responsibilities include facilitating student involvement, collaborating with university staff, and advocating for student interests in sustainability. Flexible working hours ensure that you will never be asked to work over a lecture, providing a unique opportunity to develop leadership and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience within the relevant student community.
• Well organized and able to plan, deliver and review projects effectively.
• Able to clearly capture and convey information in writing.

Responsibilities

• Engage students with the work of UWSU and Sabbatical Officers.
• Perform on-ground outreach to build connections and engage students.
• Facilitate Democratic Forums and support student-led campaigns.
• Advocate for student interests regarding sustainability.
