Job summary

DiverseJobsMatter in London is seeking a Research and Campaign Manager to drive a multi-year programme on air quality, health and environmental impact. You will lead research, craft investor briefings and campaign content, and build strong relationships with investors, companies and funders.

Reporting to the programme lead, you will work across policy, communications and investor engagement teams, translating complex science into accessible materials while steering projects and monitoring

Qualifications

• Knowledge of air pollution, sustainability or related commercial determinants of health, including how companies contribute to and can address these challenges.
• Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to critically assess company approaches.
• Experience producing high-quality written outputs and translating complex scientific information into clear, concise briefings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders and public audiences.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders using persuasive, audience-appropriate communication.
• Proven project management skills, including managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience managing external relationships and representing an organisation externally.
• Strong strategic judgement, with the ability to assess options, make decisions and prioritise effectively.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across teams.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of the investment system and how investors can influence companies.
• Experience developing fundraising bids for trusts and foundations.
• Detailed knowledge of air pollution and its links to climate change.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deliver campaign workstreams, including relevant AGM strategies.
• Develop research, investor briefings, reports, case studies and other campaign content, presenting findings to different audiences.
• Mobilise investors through briefings, statements, letters and escalation activity, while strengthening investor relationships and collaboration.
• Manage relationships with companies, external partners and funders, and support the development of funding bids.
• Translate responsible investment principles into campaign asks, investor materials and corporate engagement.
• Monitor and critically assess company policies and practices relating to air quality.
• Coordinate activity across internal teams to ensure work is aligned with wider strategy.
• Support budget management, programme monitoring and funder reporting.
