ABOUT TRG

Track Record Global (TRG) are experts in natural material supply chain assessments, verifying that the legislation in place to protect consumers and the environment is adhered to as well as ensuring that the environmental claims made by our clients are traceable.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an assessor to join our Responsible Sourcing Compliance team, to carry out risk assessment and the collection and verification of mitigating documents. Our assessors provide a service which enables our clients to demonstrate the responsible sourcing of their products - primarily timber - assessing compliance with environmental, performance, legality, safety, sustainability and associated ethical issues.

Due to the nature of the work, we’re looking for candidates with an interest in sustainable forest product supply chains and associated ESG issues..

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is meticulous, detailed work which can involve a high level of complexity, so attention to detail and an ability to think critically is vital.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Mapping supply chains and checking that the provided compliance evidence is relevant
  • Reviewing certificates and documentation provided by suppliers to ensure that they are compliant with legal or client-determined requirements
  • Providing suppliers with feedback to ensure the correct documentation is being provided
  • Assisting with engagement and training activities with suppliers
  • Administrative/reporting tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the service
ABOUT YOU

You will have some basic knowledge of timber and forest products, and be able to:

  • Build trusted relationships cross-functionally
  • Clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Effectively manage their time
  • Work well under pressure
  • Use Excel & Google Sheets (minimum basic level)
