Job summary

The OEM client based in Gaydon is seeking a Suspension Engineer to join their team on an Inside IR35 maternity cover contract, with a proposed end date of 2027-01-29. Umbrella Pay Rate: £28.43 per hour.

Duties include applying engineering principles to develop suspension systems, maintaining release documentation, and delivering test plans and supplier coordination within an Agile squad. The role requires strong communication, change management experience, and knowledge of GD&T, CAD/CAE tools,

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in suspension engineering or related R&D.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop suspension devices through design, characterization and refinement.
• Deliver plan to quality, cost and time, and support change requests.
• Work within an Agile squad to develop industrialized products.
• Manage documentation and release processes up to sign-off.
• Coordinate with supplier teams to meet milestones.
