As a Sushi Prep Chef, you will play an integral role in preparing and presenting exceptional dishes that reflect Nobu’s iconic culinary philosophy. Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will ensure every plate demonstrates technical skill, balance, and creativity — hallmarks of Nobu’s world‑renowned cuisine.

The Role

• Prepare, cut, and present sushi and Japanese dishes to Nobu’s exacting standards
• Ensure your section is set up and fully operational before service
• Monitor food quality and consistency throughout preparation and service
• Follow Nobu recipes and presentation guidelines precisely
• Maintain the highest hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Receive, check, and store food deliveries correctly
• Conduct regular equipment and stock checks, reporting any issues promptly
• Uphold Nobu’s allergy and cross‑contamination policies with care and precision
• Support and mentor new team members, fostering teamwork and excellence
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless service
• Uphold Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro in every interaction
