Ayerst Environmental is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their Kent team. The role involves conducting asbestos surveys and analytical duties across a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with HSE guidelines and UKAS standards.

The ideal candidate will hold BOHS P402/403/404 or equivalent, possess strong report-writing skills, and be able to manage workloads independently. A driving licence is essential for site visits.

Formación

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage workloads independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys per HSG264.
• Carry out air monitoring, four-stage clearance, reassurance testing, leak testing and smoke testing per HSG248.
• Produce accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Carry out bulk sampling and maintain accurate site records.
• Work across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting Ayerst Environmental in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their growing team in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a well-established asbestos consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across the South East. The successful candidate will undertake a varied mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Kent and the surrounding region.

Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
