Job description

Overview

We work with property professionals, landlords, agents, investors and developers to provide as many surveys under one roof as we possibly can in our fields of expertise, and to the highest possible standards. From requesting a quote, through to the surveyor who carries out the work, we believe that working with us should be hassle-free and we aim to give complete service satisfaction on all our services.

Apprenticeship details

Please note this is a 2 year course and will lead to permanent full time position at the completion.

You will both work towards achieving formal training (Level 3 Surveying Technician Apprenticeship from the RICS) and to join our Topographical Survey department as we continue to expand. This is a full time position, with a 1 day a week release for training via the virtual training provider. Out of term time you will be expected to work 5 days a week.

Work location and schedule

You will work in locations across the UK, overnight stopovers are often required and you could be working away whole weeks at a time, although we do our best to avoid consecutive weeks when possible.

Responsibilities and training

The successful candidate will gain hands on experience in surveying and be taught how to use a variety of survey equipment from total stations, GPS and Laser Scanners. As you progress, we will train you to process your own survey data and produce both 2D or 3D drawings for clients to a high standard.

Apprenticeship program

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Surveying Technician Level 3 standard via our training partner, Learning Skills Partnership. Your Apprenticeship typically takes 24 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support.
