Job summary

Saipem in Aberdeen seeks a Survey Workshop Engineer to join the Survey Asset department. You will inspect, maintain and test survey and positioning equipment, and support related logistics for projects.

The role requires experience in onshore workshop environments, reading technical drawings, and installing survey equipment. UK right-to-work is required; full-time staff role with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in an onshore workshop environment inspecting, testing and maintaining survey equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (electronic and mechanical).
• Experience with installation and interfacing of survey equipment and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Testing, maintenance, and preparation of Asset equipment for projects in line with QA/QC procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers to repair damage or faulty equipment in house or out of house.
• Update records of equipment maintenance, services, calibration, failure and repairs.
