Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the CCTV Command Suite team at Milton Keynes Police Station. The successful candidate will join an experienced team, who have responsibility for monitoring two major police areas for Thames Valley Police, Milton Keynes and Slough. You will make proactive use of the new digital CCTV System to locate incidents and when appropriate update the Police Control Room via the police radio system.

You will assist with the detection of crime, anti‑social behaviour and to support the reduction of crime, disorder and the fear of crime.

This will require excellent observational skills, and the ability to remain calm during incidents some involving violence.

You will be required to work a rotating shift pattern covering 7 days per week and must have the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels.
