An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Surgical Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Durham. This role is perfect for a vet who thrives on taking the lead with surgical cases and feels confident handling non-routine surgeries. The position offers the chance to take ownership of a varied surgical caseload in a modern, well-equipped branch located close to the town centre.

Facilities

The practice boasts excellent facilities, including dedicated wards, a spacious waiting room, and a large preparation area with a separate imaging suite. A dedicated cat entrance, waiting room, and hospital ward demonstrate the practice's commitment to feline care, as they work towards becoming an ISFM-accredited Cat Friendly Clinic. The surgery is outfitted with cutting-edge equipment, including digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, a physiotherapy laser, and in-house haematology and biochemistry machines.
