Job summary

North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is offering a part-time Nursing Associate role, with NMC registration or in final qualifying year. You will join the Surgical Services Team across Hand & Wrist and Podiatric Surgery, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in outpatient and theatre settings.

The post requires teamwork with Consultants, Podiatrists, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants; training will be provided. Pro rata salary £28,392–£31,157 per annum.

Qualifications

• Healthcare qualification or relevant experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and theatre protocols.
• Previous experience in surgical or outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative assessment and prehabilitation.
• Undertake wound care and dressings.
• Support patients throughout their surgical journey.
• Participate in theatre duties, including circulating and scrub roles.
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic surgical team.
• All training will be provided, subject to meeting essential criteria.
