Qualifications

  • Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner with MSc, PG Cert, PG Dip in Surgical Care Practice.
  • Robust experience in Robotics, Urology, or Gynaecology is essential.
  • Registered healthcare professional with a related honours degree.
  • Recent theatre nursing experience with 2-3 years as a qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.

  • Provide clinical bedside assistance for robotic surgeries within the department, reporting to the consultant surgeon.
  • Conduct patient assessments and surgical preparation.
  • Manage the clinical area effectively on a daily basis and plan ahead for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate closely with operating surgeons as part of the surgical care team.

What you’ll bring:

  • Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner with MSc, PG Cert, PG Dip in Surgical Care Practice.
  • Robust experience in Robotics, Urology, or Gynaecology is essential.
  • Registered healthcare professional (e.g., nurse or ODP) with a related honours degree.
  • Recent theatre nursing experience with 2-3 years as a qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.
  • Essential Log Book and a strong aptitude for clinical and operational practice.
  • Ability to manage the clinical area proactively and strategically.
